*Screening Laboratory*

	This laboratory is responsible for the screening for transfusion transmitted diseases on all blood products donations. Tests include HIV, HBsAg, HCV, HBC, HBs, CMV, Syphillis, GPT and confirmation tests for all initial and repeated positives. These tests are performed using latest technology, fully automated equipment. They can vary according to new medical research and requirement.

	Work station for separation of samples, centrifugation and for reading confirmatory strips using computer scanner. The Pc is networked and data is logged in database.



			The fully automated Axsym analyzer during sample testing and data transfer of results to pc.
