You can help the National Blood Transfusion Service not only by donating blood but in other ways too. Either by raising awareness about the importance of giving blood or by being an organiser / volunteer.
Volunteers can help by:
Organising a blood drive.
By distributing posters at their workplace or any other organisation.
A good blood drive organiser:
Will need to act as a contact person.
Try to encourage new donors and existing ones to donate blood. A total of at least 20 donors have to be collected.
Distribute any posters or leaflets with all details about when and where the drive will take place.
A Poster Contact Volunteer:
Will need to put up posters at his/her workplace or any other organisation.
Encourage workmates and colleagues to donate blood.
Here are also a number of posters that can be downloaded. These can be used for any campaigns organised. The ones below are ideal for this festive season. Posters will be changed according to every season.
