Mission
Statement
Mount
Carmel Hospital aims to promote mental health within the Maltese society by:

Assisting
persons with mental health problems who require specialist treatment and
care as well as support for their social network.

Providing,
through specialist multi-disciplinary teams, a comprehensive and
integrated range of community and hospital mental health service.
Mount
Carmel Hospital is responsible for the coordination of all mental health
professional services offered in Malta and Gozo . The services are offered by
eight consultant led firms, as follows:

services comprising clinical psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, social
work and physiotherapy.
